I'm just baffled. This happened at the same time as my message counter reset. I was up to like 150 I think.

it kinda irked me because it reset my message count and I wanted to get up to like 1000000000 and be all cool and stuff

Maybe it's a precursor to Crow being destroyed, and Glomdoring coming back with Monkey totem instead?

If I remember correctly, someone else had this message (and posted about it, hence my remembering it) a long time ago. About when cling was fixed to have 100% wind resistance, again if I remember correctly.

Hehe. Couldn't you just see this giant tainted monkey? Just because he was searching for food at the wrong time. I could just see the Glom crew raising Crow and then all of a sudden this giant, shadowy looking monkey comes out and beats the hell out of him.

Seriously though, if Monkey ever becomes a Totem specialization I'd -so- make a jesters guild to go with it. *daydream*

How nice of that monkey to give you an order promotion. I also remember back in the beginning when that steel shortsword promoted all of us out of novicehood... I never got to thank that fella...

We recently upgraded how messages are stored. My original design kept the message counter, but would have caused like 5 minutes of lag while converting the old messages. So we did it a different method, which was pretty seamless, but lost message counters.

Those odd messages, are from a REALLY old bug, that has long been fixed. You probably just never deleted them.

It was the promotion monkey. You don't know it? It is really cute and furry and has big, smelly feet.

Perhaps, though the monkey in the trees thing is some bug with orderappoint. Hopefully this is fixed.
