Thaemorn gently floats to the ground.

In any case, I was just standing there, dumbfounded and confused.

Fire = Divine Fire = can't get hit.

Remember, even Divine need levitation.

Seriously, everyone ... Divine whether elder, vernal, etc, whatever .... shouldn't need defenses against attacks (especially mortal ones).

They should be immune to all attacks.

How lame.

I don't think Vernal godes should be immune to all attacks.. after all, after all, they are simply DBZesque Mortals :-P I think they should be highly resistance to damage and afflictions (like, 80% resistance) and able to cure massive ammounts of afflictions in sweeps.. but not completely immune to everything.. like.. make them Supernal-ish in power, and it'll be spifftacular :-P

Viravain's no Vernal God. She's an Elder. Whole different league.

Most likely the Spider Lady has been deceiving you, making you think She is vulnerable. Then, when you attempt to dispose of Her, She will unveil all Her darkly tainted glory and reveal how wrong you have been to even consider that She might have weaknesses.

Spider lady? I thought she was turning THEM into happy little aminals as well.

If She has claimed any title at this moment I am not aware of it, though, those spiders appear to be following Her around since Her ordeal.
