And you are always screaming about how tanky we are? Well, I guess that goes to show that Putrefaction is indeed awesome.

I'm not the one tanking demon lords and supernals, even Nifilhema kills me in one blow + bleeding. Also, maximum health factors in for playercombat, with a lot of health, you take more damage, I only have 3K.

Silvanus for example doesn't have putrefaction, and he takes even less damage than I do. Next to the fact that the spar was during daytime, so Murphy was at -3 strength compared to night. During night I take 750 per blow from Murphy with putrefaction, 900 per blow without.

How is that fight a representation of a knight fight? He hit you twice the entire fight, the rest of the time he was hitting rebounding or got parried. Heck, he didn't even keep his mana high enough and got wrack. If Murphy was able to consistently attack instead of hit once, parried, rebound, repeat and die, then it would had been a different story.

Exactly, but knights just aren't able to do that, hence they don't need downgrades, even if Murphy would have hit me for 1000 a blow, he wouldn't have killed me, since it's just too easy interrupting their attacks.

If Murphy had actually been smart and changed his targetting (I have no idea why he didn't) then he wouldn't have had these problems.

Knights aren't able to switch targetting or raze? I agree that it's too easy to interrupt knight's attacks since they have no passive abilities, but that log really showed nothing but Murphy's horrible offensive strategy, not his damage capabilities. I'd be more interested if you posted a log against Alger or Daevos for instant.

Yeah, and the only fights you seem to win are by whoring moonburst, so I wouldn't talk smack about Murphy. He's beaten every top fighter so far, you did not. Not saying you're a bad fighter, but Murphy isn't either.

I'm just going by the log, you're saying Knights don't need downgrades since you shut down his offense easily and killed him, but the fact of the matter is that his offense was horrible in the fight. If you consider swinging at your opponent twice is a true representative of a knight's offensive, then I don't even know what to say.

Actually, the log wasn't meant to prove knights don't need downgrades, it was just a log of one of the few spars I have, in which I experienced no particular danger, strengthening my own believe that knights don't need downgrades.

If I'd be a fish aquamancer in a dress getting beat on by lightning elemental blades, I would probably have another opinion.

Daevos is indeed the most devastating knight I've fought though, he just stomps me into the ground if I'm not careful, where as Alger is a good fighter, I don't even have to hinder him to tank him indefinately, I can just stand there, apply health to keep my wounds up and eat sparkleberry, aslaran blow.

You don't have to be a Fish Aquamancers to know that Elemental runes do an extreme amount of damage. Alger with putre and fieldplate takes in excess of 1800 damage from Daevos every 2 swings and he has no lightning weakness. Tuek as a dwarf with greatrobes, tower, drawdown, and barkskin takes around 1800 damage as well.

Hey, that's what Alger told me, we'll have to ask him to show his numbers. I know that I do take 1800 from Daevos, and Tuek's log showed he took around the same as well, and Amaru took around 1500 or so every 2 swings from his logs. So it is not overdoing by any means.
