I know that this has probably been asked countless times before, but what's the best client for Mac OS X? I've been playing around with MudWalker, but it freezes completely when it gets deluged with text- say, in a large battle.

A) Is there any way to fix that?

cool.gif Is there a better alternative of a MUD client?

I use Rapscallion now. There is a quasi-OS-X version for it that works pretty good. It has a fairly large range of options for it, I just haven't figured them all out yet to the extent that I can make a good system with it. But it is definately possible.

I am using TF. Although I am not using a Mac, TF can still compile on Mac, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, if you aren't familiar with programming, this program is not recommended. If you are proficient at programming, this client is the best there is. You should also be comfortable with staring at a shell all day long.

Personally, I use the Mac OS 9 version of Rapscallion in classic mode. I didn't like the half-OS X version, because it wasn't really for OS X, just changed a bit to be compatible and was slower. It has aliases, variables, tickers, triggers, and a few other things. It's decent, nothing like zmud, but you can make an okay system on it.
