A number of us in IRC had a very enlightening conversation with Lisaera… Essentially it comes down to… “Things are gonna happen when they should happen, so you just have to do what you’re supposed to do and shut it.” So I’m comfortable with the fact that we’re getting steamrolled, as I realise that it’s completely intentional. We’re just supposed to keep throwing ourselves at it, like a bird into a window, and eventually it’ll drop into our lap. Ok, that’s cool, so be it.

The problem is, why bother? What’s the point in throwing ourselves blindly into the unknown, bumbling about, going up to ethereal to try and do the next step, when we know we can’t get the stuff we need to do it? And even worse, we don’t have any idea what the next step is. Maeve said some stuff about a sceptre, the pieces of which are all conveniently located on the Ethereal plane.

I’m not asking for this to be easy, but I’m asking for it to make sense. Give us some guidance and maybe even a task that might be doable? It’s not a lot to ask, honestly. We don’t have any frigging clue where we’re supposed to be headed, and the Wyrm’s dead (again), and the Scepter pieces all spawn on ethereal.

Cut us some slack already, or if we have to just suicidebomb a target, fine.. At least hint at what that target is.

...Is there -really- a need to post about every single portion of the Glomdoring event? Yes, everyone knows you, and many others, are upset. It shouldn't be easy, it shouldn't be one thing. It's obvious the people in Glomdoring can't do it by themselves at this point, due to the nature of the quests, so maybe that's not the best idea at the moment.

My understanding is that Lisaera's comments in this IRC chat were either misunderstood or perhaps not properly communicated. In any event, I don't really like to discuss events OOC while they are currently going on so I'll refrain from commenting. Yes, Visaeris, your attempts to influence and manipulate the event and the administration are duly noted.

Excuse me, I'm not trying to manipulate anything or anyone. We're just all completely and totally demoralised, and I'm begging you to at least give us some indication of what direction we should go, or something we can do.

Although I don't know the extent of Visaeris' attempts, I kind of find it amusing that an attempt at roleplaying is manipulating the event and the administration.

Estarra, seriously now. We have NO idea what to do, where we need to go, those "misunderstood" comments now have the entire glom movement (all 27-30 of us) with no help. We can't do anything - we can gather essence, but Narsrim and Tuek can take the Wyrm on, despite a couple of rogues trying to defend. And Narsrim just soloed brennan, despite about five of us webbing/attacking.

We don't have a limb to cling to. Give us something.

Im sick of all this. If there were words to express how demoralized, angry, and frustrated I feel, Id give you a ten page essay on it. but for now, "This sucks beyond all belief" will have to suffice.

That's correct, I take full responsibility for taking this IC. It was completely hypocritical of me, but I did it because it needed to be done.

All you glom people should honestly stop whining about how things are going. People like the Guardians have been working to gaudiguch alot freaking longer, suck it up and go with those events. don't blame the admistation for how its going.
