The little joke about the elfen being "Roark's dream date" was because after he saw the first draft sketch, he kept asking me every other day if the elfen was finished. Anyway, here she is! Upon a broomstick and with athame in hand, I really love the attitude she exudes--this is no wilting flower! One thing I never realized about elfen was how big their feet are. Her boots look like they were made for stomping! (Yes, guys, she is wearing boots--just drop your eyes a little lower.) I guess Roark just likes his women with big feet!

I don't like the big lips so much, but yea, she's an Elfen built for battle, she's got this great aura and just doesn't want people to mess with her. Very attractive and cool. I love elves with big ears like that too... it's just stylish!

Anyway, I like it, though I didn't have a chance to vote, it is certainly a different take on typical fantasy elves, though it does keep with the pattern put forth by the artist.

Let's see. Thoughts:
- Love the athame
- Great boots. Might have to consider actually getting footwear. But then Tsuki wouldn't be barefoot, and wearing only a dress, backpack, and torc is fun.
- Speaking of torc, also think the torc is great.
- Yes, she looks cold.
- Eep. Must begin to be much more careful not to get ears caught in doors. Or, just go with my own idea of what the site means by: "They are a lithe, beautiful people, with delicate pointed ears and almond-shaped eyes."

Another, random, thought, because I've not had sleep: what's around her waist? Let's see, she could:
call broom, drop broom, mount broom
summon talisman, wield athame
summon torc
summon ... girdle?

Does seem a bit gypsy-ish, which isn't such a -bad- thing. I wish she looked a little more mystical and less 'stabby stabby in the dark', though.

All i can say is the broom might need to be a lil bigger, seems a wee bit small in comparison to the figure, but other then that i can see why it's his dream date
