I've been crunching the numbers for the credits I bought and it looks like I'm going to end up with about 1022 lessons (1622 if I don't get a dagger of reincarnation) after transing most of my skills.. I'll be left with Arts/Magic/Environment all at gifted and Riding at Inept. Highest Enviro skill is Windtalk, highest Arts is Exhibit
Anyone have any suggestions one way or another on this topic?
Side note: Please don't turn this into a flamefest or accusations of bragging. I already know I'm better than all of you anyways

Someone said that was Virt/0%.. Which would put me about 240ish lessons away(half way through gifted currently). What would I want to do with the rest?
Ceres2005-04-19 14:46:42
Pump up magic.

Magic is useless for anythinig 'cept Magic damage.. Does it make that much of a difference against Magic damage though? And/or is the improvement to magic damage output of any significance?
Shiri2005-04-19 14:50:16
Yes, the difference against magic damage at trans is something horrible like 25%.
You're better off transing combat/resilience if you haven't already tho.

When I said most my skills, I meant I'll have everything, except the skills I listed, at trans.

Hmm, wasn't that at 50% Virtouoso...?
Anyway, maybe you should just save these lessons in case you switch classes someday or something?
For example, maybe they'll change Magic to reduce elemental damage someday, will be worth it then.

It does more than that. There are several other lesser known things. For example, it reduces the toad curse time. There are other things it slows down or increases the failure rate of, etc.
Richter2005-04-19 15:36:17
Keep them so you can retrans guild skills.

And I thought toadcurse was bad before I knew this.
Manjanaia2005-04-19 15:39:33
Yeah if you're gonna be a Glom guy you might need the extra creddies.
If you want to do something now it does look like magic is the best option.

Tell us what they are so we don't feel that we've completely wasted our money, as I currently do?

Any chance you could comment on some of the other things that it does? I'm curious now
Typhus2005-04-19 18:39:47
Slight increase to magic damage, magic defense, Toad curse, and slows the effects of illusions I think.
