Loboshi can no longer speak Loboshi....

Apparently somedivine changed the language name from Loboshi to Loboshigaru, and now niether will work.

EDIT: Move this to bugs....

Ooer, using my insight I prophecise this to mean...

LOBOSHI IS RETURNING AS A GOD TO LUSTERNIA!
Raan2005-04-19 17:48:36
That would be awsome... but unlikely.
Unknown2005-04-19 17:49:49
And all Loboshigarus cease to exist as they are reformed into his body.

QUOTE
Descended from the Elder God Loboshi, the loboshigaru are a race of
humanoid canines (though some dispute whether they are more similar to
wolves, dogs, jackals or all of them depending on ancestral tribe). They
have amazing regenerative power, though they are susceptible to magical
damage. Loboshigaru retain a "pack" mentality in that they prefer to
identify with clans and groups and are known to be fiercely loyal to
those groups. Most loboshigaru cannot help but see those outside of their
groups as some sort of threat, or at least highly suspicious individuals
who should be met with caution. However much of a social race they are,
it is noteworthy that if an individual loboshigaru leaves his or her
"pack" for whatever reason, they often remain intensely individualistic
"lone wolves", sometimes leading an almost monastic lifestyle for the rest
of their lives.

Decended... not made of...

QUOTE
During the Elder Wars, rather than be consumed by the Soulless Gods, several Elder Gods splintered their bodies and souls. These fragments became the mortal races. Though not all Elder Gods chose this path nor all mortal races came to be in this manner, it remains true that all Lusternians believe that within each of them is contained the fragment of a god. Thus it is said that the god-fragment within can potentially evolve through the cycles of birth and rebirth until perfection is achieved and the fragment is made whole, becoming a divine in his or her own right.
Raan2005-04-19 17:59:58
Doesnt mean He was one of them now does it....
Jack2005-04-19 18:00:26
Yes.

It does.

He was.
Unknown2005-04-19 18:04:29
It does.
It says 'Descended from an Elder god...' for every race except humans, faelings and viscanti (and Furrikin but it says specifically that they are fragments of a god anyway)
Desdemona2005-04-19 18:09:59
Weren't the Elder Gods like a big piece of glass that got broken, and the shards became the different races? If you assemble the pieces back, I think you'd end up with an Elder God/no race.
Raan2005-04-19 18:33:51
Bah! Shush all of you someone just fix the glitch!

That is because they are the three races not formed by the defragmentation of an Elder God.

Humans- Brought by Estarra.
Faeling- I -think- were the result of breeding between elfen and fae, may be wrong.
Viscanti- Other races tainted.
Erion2005-04-19 21:21:29
Faeling were born of an ancient pact between Fae and Elfen. So, yea, crossbreeding.

Thats an interesting point, as I don't necessarily think it has to be ancient.

I look on them more as something similar to (and its a crude analogy) a mule. Just like the union of a horse and donkey (two separate species) produces something with characteristics of both... every now and again the union of an Elfen and a Fae produces offspring with characteristics of both, a Faeling.

They weren't necessarily created way back when.

Shush, you're ruining the legendary "long long ago" aspects of it.
