Has anyone else noticed discrepancies in the amount of favours it actually takes you to up guildranks? From 5-6, it took like at least 5 favours, two of which were from GR* members, one from a GR5, and two more who I can't remember (but were either 5 or 19/*, since we don't really have any higher) but from 6-7 it only took one from a GR*.
Am I just imagining this, or is there some random factor, or what?

You probably just imagined it, I've never noticed anything like that. Maybe the person was favoured an extra time before it was noticed that the rank was changed, or 3 gr5's and a gr* favour made it fall just short, and the next gr* put it about halfway through gr6 or something.

I've been favoured before where 1 GM GF took me up a rank, and to the verge of the next, so that it took just a GR5 GF to push up a rank again.

Also, Shiri.. GR5 GFs suck ass.. it takes like 5-6 GR5 GFs to equal 1 GR*
