Is it just me or is this name very similar to HP Lovecraft's Cthulu? Some implications here eh? Cthulu is trapped under sea, Kethuru is trapped under the seals. Cthulu influences people telepathecially, Kethuru influences the world (being part of the fabric of creation).

Just thought that was interesting.

But when I brought it up, I recieved a rousing chorus of "WTF IS CTHULU?!"

AHAH! That's were I noticed it from. Yay! This game must be based off of Cthulu.

Lusternia has influences from a wide variety of sources. Monty Python, Lovecraft, and Wheel of Time are some of the ones I've noticed.

You can't be serious. Lusternia absolutely -drips- of WoT plot lines and character references.

Look at Kethuru: destroyer of things (eater of souls), comes from an outer sphere full of weird things, kills people only by looking at them... Somehting in him says "gimme tentacles!!"

Just because it drips of it doesn't mean I'm smart enough to pick them up.

Sides from that, it's been several years since I read WoT. Yea, I guess I can see it. The inability to destroy Keturu/Shaitan is there, being trapped beneath the seals.. Wow, I'm just blind.
