Is the grey moors aslaran about to pounce, perhaps in defense of his tribe? Or is he merely scouting his homeland? I love his facepaints and the dreadlocks in his great mane. Proud and noble, I can just imagine this aslaran's mighty roar!

It's really pretty. (pretty = good, not necessarily feminine)
The tongue kinda makes me think of a canine though, instead of a big cat. That's just me though, and I still really like it.

This is my least favorite so far. Looks too canine, as others said, and I was hoping it would have weapons.

Erm, I think that his lower lip, not a tongue.

Think the length of the muzzle evokes the houndish associations. Otherwise, I think it's spifty.

from the CS Lewis novels.

I'm not as impressed as I would have like to have been, I had a very different mental picture of the Aslarans. Ah well... things don't always turn out the way you want!

I did picture them as more lithe, but this is cool too.

I think people should remember that these pictures are just one possible way these creatures look. Afterall, theres generations of cross breeding,and various cultures for these races all across the basin.
