Will it have any sort of race, that each other Commune has? I mean, Seren has elfen.. Celest has merian... Magnagora has viscanti.... Glomdoring has...?

Iunno. I'm torn between regular elfen getting a new specialization, a new kind of elfen all together, or this wierd thing growing in Rowena's womb. But the thing about the wierd thing is, how could any of us be it? It's an entirely new thing. I doubt it'll be a race. So I'm expecting either a new kind of elfen, or elfen getting a new specialization.

It could be faeling, given Viravain's role. They would have to get some pretty serious stat changes to make the warrior specialization work.

I really hope it's either Faeling or something new that Rowena's, er, "making."

I hope it's something other than Elfen, just for variety's sake. If it is faeling, I really hope they give them sufficient stat boosts to make it a balanced specialization.

-5 intelligence, +4 strength, +3 constitution, +2 dexterity and +2 size.

That's for Merian... 11 strength, 11 constitution, bases... with level 3 balance, might not be HORRIBLE, however something slightly bulkier would be nice, but again.. forms of regeneration, flying, healing faster.. I might put up with that. My main concern, however, is the constitution... so feeble...

It's gonna be a dark elfen.

Then we're going to get underground cities, and a hero shall rise that throws off his dark heritige and makes his way to the surface where he is joined by a band of... wait, this has been done before.

I don't understand when people thought that nature and taint can't possibly mix, then there was these discussions of other races, but HELP ELFEN says:

specialization, an elfen becomes a High Elfen with statistics
changing by -1 strength, -1 dexterity and +2 intelligence. Elfen
who choose the warrior in communes, upon gaining the specialization

Nowhere does it say antying about choosing Moon or Hart.

But we're feeding it all sorts of strange crap from the Glomdoring, and the thing growls and expands a lot. So it's not going to be your average Faeling.

Well, it would be a little disapointing to maintain the Elfen class, specificly as a warrior.. that doesn't look to exciting, and to be the same race as your enemies... meh..

Um, people are usually the same race as your enemies. Makes it a bit harder to write them off as evil monsters, but it's still easy enough. Look at humans, we do it all the time.

Child of Elfen and Fae will probably be Faeling... but yea, it's not going to be like any Faeling the basin has yet seen. A Tainted Lich Elf mother should make things that much more interesting.
