I'm just curious if anyone has heard if there will be any new weapon specializations comming out with Glom, or otherwise in the near future. I hope so, or I'll go crawl back into the hole I came from (a.k.a the real world).

Just so expectations don't get artificually high, no. We do have plans for knights, though, including revisiting their existing skillsets.

Awww. I'd love to see axes, polearms and some more exotic (invented, not stole from oriental history) weapon specialisations. All in good time, I suppose! I love the detail going into these new skills and orgs.

Lies, Katars all the way, not the little wristblade ones, the ones like they have in Thai! They lash onto your arm in 4 places, and bolt down on your elbow and wrist. If someone tried to take it from you it would break your arm!

The statue of my character in Ashtan's arena in Achaea is nicely outfitted with katars, and this is the only instance of katars in any IRE game. I think that's really unfortunate. They are so cool!

Actually, no I don't. What is cool, however, are those ropes with the spears on the end. I was watching XMA (Extreme Martial Arts) on discovery last night, and those things own. In the demonstration, they showed how it could be used long range and short range, and when in close, could be used to choke your opponent out. Sounds fun.
