Are saplings supposed to be able to take 40+ chops with an axe without falling?
Ceres2005-04-23 11:00:36
Of course.
You're not axing them right.

They're very young and spring back Or maybe it's a sign from the gods, that you should stay away from them!
Unknown2005-04-23 11:43:30
Nah, the divine just didn't want Serenwilde thorougly trouncing Glomdoring in the early days, so they make the Avatars not steal power when they die, and the Saplings unchoppable. Temporary I guess.
Ceres2005-04-23 12:32:53
Saplings for Glomdoring are just as hard to chop as Serenwilde's.
It's just that when Serenwilde came out, no-one was trying to chop anyway because everyone had just come out.

No, full moonhart trees go down in about 12 chops. The Glomdoring ones are protected for now it seems.
Roark2005-04-23 20:03:05
The templates for ravenwood trees was messed up. They should be easy to fell now.
Erion2005-04-23 20:37:40
That's screwy. =\\
Unknown2005-04-24 02:03:09
Yeah but we need it like that, i mean as it is now, we're going to have no trees and no guards, since Viravain's ruling with the iron Fist!
Richter2005-04-24 03:59:49
Yeah, we're getting screwed.
Unknown2005-04-24 04:15:43
Haha.
Ceres2005-04-24 10:44:10
No champions = no protectors.
No protectors = no guards.
Thanks, Viravain.

Yeah I hope we aren't dictated for too long.

Protectors don't get anything beyond the title. You're thinking of Security.
Nokraenom2005-04-24 19:34:57
No, but Security must be appointed by the GM from among the Protectors. So, the logic there is correct, since there are GMs to raise Security.

This is probably because the guards aren't ready yet. The 'Viravain's iron fist' thing seems like the IC block for guard summoning, so the characters don't have to deal with the fact that they have no guards to summon yet. Just like why the Druids haven't been formed (the Crow skillset not being ready)

Shadowdancers need upgrades!
Shiri2005-04-25 04:00:48
No no no no no. :/
It's the political situation and the Commune situation, not the skills!

Ceres2005-04-25 07:13:42
Actually, we do.
Sylphas2005-04-25 18:33:32
You need upgrades, yet you have better skills than Moondancers? How can that be, Moondancers are overpowered and need downgrades, right?
