Has the Shadowdancer willowisp been set to local area? Serens are reporting that they are being wisped from area-to-area.
Silvanus2005-04-24 01:07:36
Its local area, just people are not that smart. Tugging could be dome from one area to the other, but only summon in area.
Erion2005-04-24 01:16:06
Oneiroi, Jasper, and I just tested it. It's working fine.

Important: This isn't the bug thread, Narsrim.
Shiri2005-04-24 01:46:48
Is there one?

What's up with you, Mr. Hypercritical? Are you just having a pissy day? Also, I didn't say it was a bug. I said people were telling me it was happening. I cannot say it was or was not; however, I thought it prudent to make such known if that was the case. Shame on me.
Hajamin2005-04-24 02:48:40
1. Rhysus is right, this is NOT a place for posting bugs.
2. You all need to take your medicine as there was no bug.
3. You all need to take MORE medicine if you think I coded a special wicca just for shadowdancers and didn't reuse the same skill you already had... banghead.gif

4. Take more medicine can also be known as put down the crack

Gah! I can do no right...

I posted this thread because I had no idea if it was or was not a bug. People were reporting it to me and I was like... that's sounds strange... that even sounds like how willowisp was back in the day. My first instinct was to ask, which is what this thread is about - me asking. If you read what I initially wrote, I said this clearly.

Shoot the people who told me not the concerned messenger. I mean seriously, next time I won't bother to ask and tell them to just deal with it regardless if it is a bug or otherwise. It isn't my job to ask questions like these on forums - I was just trying to stop a potential problem. I cordially apologize.
Hajamin2005-04-24 03:17:56
BUG, or if you think it's serious tell your envoy and they can post it to the envoy board... You are the envoy. doh.gif
Tehn2005-04-24 03:18:45
Narsrim, I think your heart was in the right place, but if everytime someone said something was happening, someone immediately made it into a public concern and didn't think to ask people who could perhaps test, then I bet there would be many similar topics on the forums.
Richter2005-04-24 03:41:09
I agree with Narsrim just asking a question, no harm in that. But, as Hajamin said, they just gave the old skillsets to the new guilds, just like my athletics, totems, bonecrusher, etc works exactly the same.

Oh well, next topic!

And then you would have yelled at me for it not being a bug and clogging up the envoy board tongue.gif

So my being wisped from the Moonhart Mother Tree on Ethereal, to the base of Faethorn and Ethereal Glomdoring was classified as local area? Funny, they survey as 3 seperate zones.
Hajamin2005-04-24 07:38:10
Funny, logs so no such thing. Two wisps while you were already in faethorn.
Ceres2005-04-24 08:08:04
Hehehe.

Nice one, Greggers.

Anyway.

We don't have an envoy sad.gif
Malicia2005-04-24 13:05:32
Glomdoring with wisp/flow = sad.gif

Woe is me!
Thorgal2005-04-24 13:41:33
Yes, woe is yoe!

Except they're getting raped due to being unable to get any guards. sad.gif

Anyways, could we have a bug forum or thread, its easier to post logs in the bug thread then in the bug command, and easier to explain in a log then in a paragraph.

The gods already said they will ask you to mail logs if they need them, but they mostly can find the logs back on their own systems. The reason bugs shouldn't be posted on ANY forum is bug abuse.
