Maybe it's me being silly, but Magnagora should have a different type of bird sending out the mail - perhaps a hawk, or a vulture, maybe? Something that better fits our image.

Glomdoring needs one different to Serenwilde, too. So I know when I'm getting pranks from Glom.

Ehh, I think you have the right thing going, but:

Magnagora - Needs the vultures. They're already flying about, and I think would probably fit better than some stool pigeons.

Celest - Yeah, Pelicans.

Glomdoring - Oh come on, it's screaming for crows.

Serenwilde - That's a bit more difficult. If I'd have to guess, owls or hawks.

Serenwilde could send pixies to deliver letters! Screw birds.

Glom should get crow Obviously, you'd need to be blind to not see that.
Mag should get undead vultures, why? because undead stuff is cool.
Celest should get pelicans yes
Seren shouldn't get anything cause, letters are made from trees, are they're meant to be tree huggers damn it!

Mail delivery birds should probably lean towards the smaller side, and pelicans and crows are getting up there. I'd like to see ospreys deliver Celest's mail. And maybe bats for Glomdoring (close enough to birds). Delivery pixies for serenwilde would be great....

This seems appropriate since the chasm caves were infested with bats anyway. Not to mention Viravain's whole bat/bluebird thing.

Why the hell pelicans? At least give us seagulls or albatross(es?), pelicans are just ugly.

Some history on this... Achaea actually has code to send mail via owls if it comes from Oakstone. Except that they never turned it on for whatever reason. (There are several have-finished things hidden in there that got forgotten about.) So when this was noticed, it just got turned on for the heck of it and tied to communes in general rather than hardcoding against a specific org. Plus Estarra thought the Harry Potter fans would dig it. Maybe it will get fancier, but really it was just an afterthought to begin with. I would vote... Vultures for Magnagora, crow for Glomdoring (duh), seagul for Celest, and flying squirrels for Serenwilde (related to those those pesky squirrels that the Hartstone summons). OK, so maybe the flying squirrels is a bit silly, but I like it anyway...

Why vultures? That seems too "efil" for such a "good" city.



But seriously. Seagulls sounds like a good idea. Better than owls at least. I hate Harry Potter.
