I set my preferences to log with ASCII colour, start logging...

What can I open the log with that shows the colour?

Tried Explorer, Wordpad...

Once again, my lack of program-sense shines through.

Search on google for "Ansi to html converters". It'll take your log and make it into a webpage, which you then open in ie/firefox like.. this one.

I think you can also open them up in the Editor in zmud (CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER).
