Hey everyone, this is my first post... there's probably a counter that already tells you that. Oh well.

I'm a film student. I am making a documentary about people who play IRE games. Five years ago I was very active on Achaea, but I don't have any friends there any more; however, I strangely ran into somebody at college who was my son in Achaea - weird. So he knows lots of those people, and I'm trying to find interesting people here if they're interested in being interviewed. I might just wait for decent-sized meets to form and then just drive there.

So I'm really interested in people who spend a majority of their time in the realms. And have wierd kinks in their lives because of it.

Examine: Say you are Erion and you cry every time you look at yourself in the mirror, or you can't go to the bathroom without thinking about Visaeris. That's an interesting person.

I'd like to guage how many people would actually let me ask them very personal questions about how Lusternia, or any other IRE game, has affected their lives. I myself am extremely addicted to Lusternia after having quit video games for five years, so I have some issues of my own that I need to record for the film.

I plan on shooting on digital and either using virual line interpelation to bump the image up to cinema quality or going in the opposite direction and rotoscoping the whole thing (think Linklater's "Waking Life") so that I can morph people into what I think they look like in Lusternia, etc. There'll most likely be me and a sound/light guage person. Like I said, I'm a student, you have my word that I'm not a creepy 40 year old coming to grope you. Unless you're Erion.

Sounds cool.

I'm to young, so I'm out of the question. :-D However, you should probably say where you are, so that people near you can respond... Don't want Ausi's responding if your from the US.

Dyr, thank you for actually replying and good point.

I live in Georgia, USA. And I'll be gone from the realms until the end of June, at which point I'll draw up a map of the States and figure out the easiest way to interview as many people as possible. If there are enough people interested I'll post my email address so we can actually start getting some real information flowing.

Also, I just did the dumbest thing in the history of the new Glomdoring commune by linking a manse and not knowing it cost gold and power. Here is my apology and my admittance that I am an utter newb who deserves all the harassment possible.

Erion was rather nice about it, but Jasper and Viravain aren't going to be very happy.

Okay back to documentary talk.
