A two-headed eagle skewers you with a well-placed jab.
A two-headed eagle skewers you with a well-placed jab.
A two-headed eagle screeches loudly, the sound reverberates through your head
bringing blood to your ears.

A small study.
Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky. A
massive bookcase lies overturned, scrolls charred and crumpled flying
everywhere. The glass of the windows is embedded into the walls, some cutting
beautiful paintings. Each piece reflects the lightning and the candles that
have lit a small bonfire of scrolls, causing a light glow in the upper rafters.
A huge mirror stands in the corner, bearing witness to all. Images, brief and
shadowy, appear within, always double, screaming for release from torment. A
large figure looms from the shadows next to the stairs leading beyond. It is
the statue of a screaming woman, clutching at her head, her eyes closed. Below,
reads an inscription: "Behold the clouds in collusion, destroying every
thought. At last all things have come to naught, leaving eternal confusion."
Waving in the astral winds, a sparkleberry bush drinks up the power laden
atmosphere here. There are 2 two-headed eagles here.
You see exits leading east and northwest.

I found two possible answers, when I returned to gemini after being killed. There was a bug in me or the eagles, or an affliction I didn't detect
Nayl2005-05-04 14:46:38
Yay. I get that one.
Unknown2005-05-04 14:47:18
eh?
Amaru2005-05-04 14:50:02
Sometimes I used to come out of my journal or a letter with 100 bleeding or so. Never that much though.
Nayl2005-05-04 14:51:33

We'll check on the bug thing(Yes he bugged it in game), but you could have had thin blood or something and didn't notice it. Also I believe manifestations have an attack with no message, that could explain it aswell.
Soll2005-05-04 15:38:08
Don't think so. huh.gif They don't cause bleeding in excess of 250, that I've ever seen. Those three attacks shouldn't have been above 300, by all standards I've seen before. Not sure how stacky thin blood is, though making it 8x seems ouch-full.
Unknown2005-05-04 16:06:35
Unless you attack a manifestation, it won't harm you. I checked all my afflictions, and even truehealed once and I still got hit with 2300 bleeding

Isn't thin blood "relapsing", in that it hits you with venoms twice, as opposed to increasing bleeding?

I'm actually not sure, I was just trying to think of any possibile reasons for it besides the obvious of a bug. We'll look into it.

Thank you sir, i'm afraid to go to gemini now... since we know the possible reasons, can this thread be locked?
