Okay, this idea just came to me, and it seems it's too late to put it in for Soulless 4.. so whoever is going to run Soulless 5, read this!

Okay.. Make one of the Soulless a 'carrier' or the 'blight' or something like this.
What is the blight? The Blight can be given to an Elder (Or Soulless.. could throw Elders off the scent!) and if blighted, that person cannot speak (post) without dying on the spot. They'll know they have the blight, so they'll know not to speak. This also means that they can't vote for that round..
Whachas think?

How Often woudl they give it? And how long would it last?

Sounds good, except I'd make one change. There can only be one carrier at a time and the only way to get rid of 'the blight' is to infect someone else with it, by pming whoever is running the show and telling them who you want to infect.

So, a Soulless might start of as an initial carrier, but the role gets passed around. It would increase suspicisons!

That would be a problem, Quidgyboo, because some nut would PM it even though they didn't have it just to confuse things.

It'd have to be a Soulless choice every night.

The person running the game could easily keep track of who is infected, it wouldn't be any more difficult than keeping track of who a guardian is protecting, as long as all the pms are going through the person running it.

OH YEAH. *stupid* I thought you meant the person WITH the blight would personally PM the next person.

...doh.gif Ignore me then.

I was thinking that the blight would last for that day, but the person who was blighted builds up a bit of an immunity to it, so they can't be blighted twice in a row.. Meaning it had to be inflicted by the Carrier each night.. Though that might not be too good, because if the blight suddenly stopped being spread one day, people would know that they were down at least one Soulless.
So, yeah.. because they couldn't vote that day, they get to spread the blight onto who they think is a Soulless.

I once had an idea for a complicated game involving Celest, Magnagora, and Serenwilde (now Glomdoring also), but I scrapped it as too complicated. It could be fun, but I don't think PM boxes are large enough to keep up with the influx.
