For the sake of fairness, I would like to propose two changes to the orc quest:
1. If the obelisk is distorted then orcs shouldn't be able to come through it. Currently, I cannot get to the Catacombs via the Rockholm obelisk because Daevos distorted it -but- the village is still being invaded by orcs.
2. If this cannot be done then it shouldn't be possible to distort the gates from the catacombs side.

It also seems a bit silly to nullify the quest for a paltry 10 power... even if only temporarily, which would be the side effect of it. Okay it does sound logical, but also spoils the quest if you bow to 'logic' like that.

It doesn't nullify it, you can still get there through the main entrance at the shallach source.

Ohhh... I didn't mean that, I meant the part with the orcs coming out. Nullifying the raids for low amounts of power. *shrug* Probably doesn't matter either way

Well, I think its ridiculous, he's just mad that he cant serpent hit a gatekeeper then escape easily. I would personally liked to see all those gates be one way though.

No, I simply feel that as a transcendent master of Planar magics, I should have the upper hand against some orcs when it comes to the magics of the universe. As it stands, I can be disabled from accessing a planar gateway even in all my glory but these silly orcs can come through and pillage. You are just pissy because I figured out how to stop the orcs, forcing you to do the quest over.

Actually, its obvious someone told you. And I'm mad that you can get to the inner sanctum of the catacombs at all, without doing the puzzle once. *grumbles about the evil puzzle on the second level*

Actually, it was suggest amongst a bunch of us brain storming that the method used would be viable given that it just makes sense. As for getting there, I think you are just pissy. The catacombs is far easier for Ur'guard/Nihilists because of ghosting and lichdom. Hell, you can even -by pass- the initial quest to get into the damn place.

The Second Level makes very little sense.. I understand 95% of it, but the final 5% as to which things you need to do to access the special things I just can't puzzle

Thats all you can bypass with our skills, the initial quest, the rest can not be bypassed, without planar gates or by porting in.
