There needs to be some help file or something with the door that tells you how to remove it.
I spent ages getting a knight splintering the door, working with 100 manse commands, until Kaervas told me on mIRC how to DETACH the damn thing.
Speaking of which, once you detach a splintered door, is it whole again?
*mutters something about having an extra door now*

From HELP MANSES:
Doors
 - Purchase a door from the shop first, obviously
 - ATTACH DOOR This attaches a door to the exit.
 - DETACH DOOR Removes a door and places a door item in your inv to
  reattach later.

What about my other questions?

If it isn't, I think all doors regen on thier own anyway.

That seems a bit odd, to have regenerating doors.

HELP DOORS-
When a Door gains the "In Aebrin's Manse" specialization it becomes a Shimmerdaine Door with stats changing by -1 con and +1 natural door regen. Also, Shimmerdaine Doors have the added disadvntage of Slower Detachment Balance level 3.

Wow. If I payed THAT much for a door and some stupid knight splintered it, and doors didn't regen, I would kill someone. Probably Hajamin. Given that He probably knows that this is true, doors regen.

*nod* Good reason for it, but it's still weird.
