My name in game is Thorne,
I am relativly new to MUDDS and was throughly enjoying Lusternia
when i began asking in NEWBIE for help with quests.
When a voice echos in my head. a "god" by the name of Hajamin.
He says to me "this is not the place to make demands"
so being me i replied... tell hajamin mind your own business.
Needless to say i was killed and teleported to this place called

:THE END OF TIME: where i can no longer do anything.

My main problem is that i was under the impression GODS in the game
were merely other players, not anyone with the power to remove a player from the entire game.
And if they are the creators or what have you how is it professional to not talk to a player when he inquires about the situation?
As well as to when i log on a friends account turn him into a shrubbery?
Needless to say he was very upset in real life.
I have written to support@lusternia.com, twice, no response.
I thought i would post here and hear some thoughts.

Thanks,

Thorne

MIGHT i add, as i sit here dead waiting for someone to speak with me in game...my character continues to drop in levels...
=( *yells for help*

There are various levels of gods and admins in the game.

Normally if hyou stick around for a while in time you will be spoken to and things worked out ... as long as you don't get angry about it.

Ive stuck around in time
until i am auto kicked around 3x.
And am i to do the same for the shrubbery?
In time i slowly lose hard earned levels...
....any advice?

You got zapped, shrubbed, and stuck in Time? That's an awful lot of punishment for simply being disrepectful, especially for a newbie.
Shiri2005-05-11 04:15:51
Well, charactersharing too, not just being disrespectful...you're not supposed to do that stuff.

I only shared in order to try to get a few words off to Hajamin,
It seemed quicker than making an entirely new character.
That was the ONE and ONLY time ive ever been on that character.

and yes i am newbie...level 19 (and dropping in THE END OF TIME)
Shiri2005-05-11 04:25:49
Probably not a wise move. wacko.gif
Daganev2005-05-11 04:48:38
Sounds like a bit of a mixup... best to make a new charachter and read all the rules more carefully.
Hajamin2005-05-11 05:14:46
This is not really the place to discuss such things. As for Thorne, he had repeatedly been disrespectful to both Myself, and the Guides. He had been muted once for it, and that didn't seem to phase him. So, the Guide on at the time was tired of it, and put him in TIME for it, which is completely in his right to do and was warrented. The zap was for repeatedly speaking OOC with Myself, even after being told not too. Trying to get an Admin to talk with you OOG, is not something that's going to happen, and the wording that was used in that question was beyond disrespectful. The friend was shrubbed, as policy, due to character sharing. That friend, just two days prior, was told not to use auto-login for just that reason. The friend was messaged(yes, shrubs can read messages) with what needs to be done to retrieve said character.

In the future, it would be wise to listen when Divine and Guides speak to you, we are not just "other players", we are the administration and repeated disrespect will not be tolerated. Disrespect was just one of many things done in a short period of time.

Emailing support@lusternia.com is the only way to have any such permenant punishments changed. Bringing things like this to the forums, is not a wise choice when trying to get a punishment changed.

That is very much true, now when you start smashing your keyboard and attempting to scream more curses than a sailor could dream of saying, you're probably going to be stuck there wink.gif

I simply wanted to see what others thought of the issue, and if i was totally out of line.
More than anything i wanted to discuss with yourself hajamin on the issue.
With my current knowledge of how things go you have my utmost apologies and promise to retain my character when in game and to note dualy when a divine or guide addresses me.

Please contact me.

The disrespectful attitude was out of line, and so was charater-sharing.

It is now in the hands of the head admin, they will contact you if they feel it is so needed.
Terenas2005-05-11 05:24:31

As far as cussing like a sailor goes, i would appreciate it if you pulled up the logs (if you have that ability) and re read what was said. I think you will see the rudest thing i said was go die.
And as i said i was a little newbie just doing quests in newton. not sure why a god would be addressing me anyways.

Is there a head admin which i can contact?
Ialie2005-05-11 06:23:35
Haha your "friend" should be kicking your butt.
Murphy2005-05-11 07:20:34
well you were rude to a divine IC and OOC, you deserved everything you got. I was merely arrogant IC to haj and he zapped me after i spat in his fulcrux

Not quite nothing... giving this guy his password is an unequivocal violation of the rules. It only gets fuzzy when you get into hacking into an account, and what constitutes due diligence.
Iridiel2005-05-11 15:01:02
I am pretty sure I would be very upset with anybody using my characters.
If they hack it, because they're stealing my character.
If it's a friend who saw me tiping it or just guessed or whatever, for abusing my trust so much.
If it's somebody auto-login or using my script in my computer... what the %%%% are you doing trying to log in as my character? (as I am sure my client doesn't load it automatically on startup)
Of course I cannot say in wuich case I would be more upset. But I would know it would be my fault for using an easy password or trusting people not to touch my computer.
