Well as the topic says I think a cool way to add more quests would be if each guild would have quests specifically for their guild. Like seven or some odd number. They would be RP specfiic to each guild and what not. Greet the guild tutor and depending on your guild rank you would get a specific quest that could only be done once. And to make it uber cool you couldnt do certain things until you have completed the quests. Like you couldnt meld your respectice plane unless you had passed the first quest. Or you couldnt summon your cudgel/staff until you had completed the third quest.. or couldnt summon your compainion/thrall you get the point.

Overall idea: good.
Details (that is, skills useable only after the quest): a giant no. I don't want not to be able to use some of my skills only because the big bottom at the GM's throne didn't consider me worthy of a GF. And what about rogues then?

Its not that they don't consider you worthy. If I understand the original post, you just have to do the quest.
And, I'll paraphrase what the admins have said about rogues:
Screw 'em.

I REALLY Like that idea
It will be hell on the coders though.
I can just imagine the in the Ur'guard having to get past the gate of the catacombs (properly) which allows you to learn the secrets of lichdom

Maybe not to unlock skills, but just as guild quests, that only guildmembers can do.

The quests would have to be at least partially randomised to stop the buggers just put it in GHELPS etc.... kinda too much work for what it'd be, I guess. Eh.

The original post said that you need to have a certain GR to do the quests. So, your point is wrong.
And about rogues: screw the cityless ones. Guildless should have the normal abilities, with their nexus attunement and all. It's hard to stay in a guild when every single one of them is corrupt, with favouritism and power abuse (every single one, it's just more obvious in ones then the others).
