I can't check it out, as I say, my disc scratched. :/ can't play TFT because of it, either, since I only found out when I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole lot that that was the problem.

. I used to play it alot but never got every good at it so I played alot of TDs instead. I also do alot of freeforalls with a few friends, full diplomacy so its really fun.
Theres another map that is better though, and I completely forget its name. Its like TD but there is tower building and such with pooling gold. I will check my custom list thats like 200++ maps later.

That's the general populace. Then you get the players who will take out 15 BCs using 8 Ghosts and 10 Goliaths
.SC has the potential to be a hugely strategic game of abilities and stealth but most players don't even bother. They just mass some troops and attack.
For example, no one ever uses Dark Swarm. I don't get it...get a few Ultralisks in a Swarm and watch them completely demolish defenses and any units sent at them.
Psionic Storm completely cripples a low-tech army...
Disruption Webs are insane for side-attacks etc etc etc.

Oh, yeah, sure, I don't doubt there are ways to use the damn things. I just have trouble with it. Also I have trouble dealing with more than like 2 squads of units. ALSO I have trouble on that game knowing when to expand. I can PWN the single player game easily (who can't?) but as soon as I get into a game with actual players I get rushed and pwnt.
WC3 - I hate the hero thing. I hate having to BASH. X_x And if he dies to a raid, you're screwed. I'd like the game better without heroes. That said, the rest of it's fun.
