First of all, yes I made in error in not putting up deafness, but both walls were up anyways, and I do not have tumble. Seriously I don't understand why divine make such stupid skill like an all aeon room.

And to Ethelon, I don't care what you say mate, but to me, you have no combat ability if all you can do is fight in a choked room.

When I was a level 50 trill nihilist, Ethelon wouldn't fight me in contagion. Though he would try to summon me into a statue all day. He'd spent a half hour just trying to summon me over and over, and probably felt like a badass when he finally got me. Now that he's the Shadowdancer champ, I haven't seen him fight with us even one time, he just sets up choke and hexes and tries to wisp people.

No respect for Ethelon here.

Can't say I blame Ethelon for using his skills effectively in the fight. But making statements like that when all he did in the entire fight was web/trample 90% of the time just seems way too arrogant, especially since it was his faes that did most of the works.

That makes me laugh. Thadd teleports to Ethelon and he has choke set up with hexes, ents with icewalls up and knowing that he didn't have tumble. What a show of great might and skill there. Choke is horrible for warriors and I hate that this ability was brought over into Lusternia. Do you have any idea how hard it is to cure in choke? You'd have to have your herbs outrifted to stand a chance. Not to mention, dealing with ents. In CHOKE. It isn't anything to brag about.

Note- I should say that in Achaea when dealing with a retard vibe, it was a bit easier to keep up with your offense, as dsl operated as a double swing without seperate arm balance and 100% venom reliability. Envenoming was a pain..hell, most people just left the room. Oh well. Just ranting. I hate the ability more than Thaddeus does, I'm sure.

Well in Achaea/Imperian/Aetolia it caused other vibes to decay at a rapid rate, leaving no other passive effects hitting you, save retardation. Knights had it easy, just pre-envenom, and start slashing with aconite/curare or whatnot, and a fight with a mage in retardation would be over right quickly.

Ok, just to point out, I set that up ON PURPOSE. Thaddeus hte night before jumped me while I was bashing Scorpions, I asked him where his honour was in jumping bashers, which most people have enough respect not to do, especially damend scorpions. He tells me that there is no honour in dealing with tainted and amde it clear he would cheese whatever he can to kill me. So when in tells he was mocking me, I told him to come over, had ONE hex setup, wasn't even fully deffed cause I had no damn power, and was not about to give the moron a chance to just inquisition whore me which is the ONLY chance he would have. Also Jelaludin, ask anyone else in the commune, even last night I lead repeated raids into Faethorn while you kept your ass in Glomdoring. I have entered Faethorn and fought a great deal more times than you so don't try saying I'm never there fighting.

People, don't forget, Choke messes EVERYONE up, even me. So don't be saying it's the only thing I do, I have fought many times without it and when I feel I need to use it I will. Unless you start doing more than 300 damage epr swing Thaddeus you will never beat me in a duel, jump, or even if I sat there and jerked off while you tried to harm me.

Choke is freakin insane against warriors, use the skill fine, whore the skill sure, no problems with any of this stuff as long as the skill is around (which I hope isn't very long). But if you have it, don't refuse to fight anywhere except inside a choke room, because seriuosly it's like asking me to stand still when soulless gets flung at me. Not saying that Ethelon does this because I've never sparred or fought him, just a random rant.
