I just posted this same question on the Achaean boards but I'm anxious to see what people who play here have to say about the question as well.

Lusternia takes quite a bit from you to play. It takes time, patience, in some cases a very high degree of dedication, money, creativity, etc. So what are you getting back personally from these investments?

In the very beggining I think it was fun, mixed with curiosity for some reason. Now I am no longer addicted, but for some reason I always just... I don't know how to put it... have to no what is happeneing

Fun, and a way to make and keep in contact with my friends, every last one of whom I've met through and plays either Achaea or Lusternia.

Frustration, headache, anger, fear, aggression, dark side of the Force and frustration.

And more fun then any other computer game, excluding the FF series + Chrono Trigger.

Kills boredom and despite the amount of headaches and frustration its still fun. Though, you do get to that point where sometimes it feels like a job. Somehow I dont mind though, oddly enough

Well I'd say my #1 reason is Malicia. But before that, and still now to an extent, I just love the skill and roleplay involved, especially in combat and politics (watching from a distance there).

I would say rp buuuuut... its just now getting back to where it exists decently with my char heh

Less money, a lack of a social life, people bothering me in IMs whenever I go online, less sleep, supervisors checking my comp to see if the forums are up (YES, THAT MEANS YOU, STANDING BEHIND ME).

Oh. It's fun sometimes.

Fightning, hunting, role playing, seeing funny people like Wepaw.

Escapism (sp?).

Forgot about that. That too.

Entertainment especially when I can't sleep.

What do I get from Lusternia?..hmm bad grades, not enought sleep, at times, frustration...but it's an awesome winding down hobby...after a long day of school or practice
