ok i just got hit by a statue and was thinking, i have healing but haven't gone threw and set alias's to heal every type of affliction. so i was thinking could we get a ability in healing that allowed you to heal one random affliction from yourself at double the equalibrium of normal?

That sounds cool, but incredible overpowered. Because of when you only get hit with one affliction.
I take that back.. I missread double eq to it being a shorter balance time not a longer one. But still.. allheale and that skill at the same time would seem a bit much.

Given that healing yourself takes no eq time at all? If I had lots of mana, I'd just trigger getting hit by a statue to do every single cure I knew of simultaneously.

Healing in other realms allowed you to HEAL ME STUPIDITY for example, and it didn't take equilibrium or balance (just like here you can do HEAL ME NEUROSIS (that's stupidity, right?)). However, additionally you could just do HEAL, which would heal you of a random affliction, for a decent period of equilibrium (similar to Nihilist syphon). It could not be used on others, however.

Currently, as your knowledge in Healing progresses you learn how to cure the different "classes" (for lack of a better term) of afflictions. If you wouldn't know how to cure it, you wouldn't know how to cure it, so something as proposed -- to cure one random affliction of any type -- would only really make sense if it was placed right before Bedevil at Trans. Otherwise, there'd only be a slight point in learning beyond wherever else it was ... keep at the random curing long enough and it'll fix whatever's wrong even if you couldn't otherwise deal with it.
And stupidity isn't a neurosis. I can't cure stupidity yet with Healing. Neurosis cures, among other things, shyness and insomnia, so I've used that a bunch.

Neurosis is handy as it does impatience and insomnia.
Mania is stupidity.
This said, I don't really care how that neurosis stops curing insomnia first.

I like the idea of a skill that could cure one random affliction at a power cost of maybe 2, an EQ of about 2 seconds and not able to be used on other people. Also, it would need to be set up at trans like Tsuki said, otherwise it would undermine the entire system as it is now

yes but i was talking about a skill strictly for healing, and a power cost ya that would be cool, it was just annyoing because coming from those other games you could do just heal or heal me and it would randomly heal 1 afflict, and i think somthing like that would be a good idea for healing, or make it so that if you have done anything aggressive against another player in like the last 30 min you can't use the ability, that way it can't be used for pk purposes
