Erk, are joining numbers really that bad?

After the test server I believe the uberness of Crow will get transmited.

Heh. I get swamped with 'Dark tidings' and all sorts of greetings every five minutes on the Novice channel. I think people must be bored.

Heh. The number of obnoxious greetings people make up, it's so weird. You can't just say "Greetings" or "hello", you have to have "mystical greets" (I mean, WTF, you don't SAY mystical like that) or "dark tidings" or whatever. It's lame. >_>

Well, personally I couldn't understand what would draw someone apart from the skills themselves. But thats just me.

Judging the number of people who want to play Druids by Hartstone's original joining rate, there aren't too many to draw from in general. Then there is the fact that Blacktalon are basically Druids who destroy and sicken forest, and I imagine that turns off quite a few forestal types. I guess the target group you are aiming for are those who want to play evil but don't like Magnagora overly much?

I don't know, maybe you just need a bit of a spiel to sell your guild to the masses.

Numbers have never been very high, for either druid guild. Wicca has much more attraction, it seems.

Really, we're advancing all competent novices at the moment (so if you don't ask me for advances and show that you get on with us and can count and speak English and all that) so it's not like getting the skills is hard. Viravain wanted to know what Nyla and I could do to increase numbers.

This IS the same Thorgal that was saying so many people only like Serenwilde because "wiccans are cool" and "they like the potion ban potential from other games" right? No one's hacked into his account or anything?

Man, I'm going to start making bets with people about the day you learn to respectfully disagree with someone's point without just being as insulting as you can get away with. I'll start on 2 years.

Tend to agree with Elryn. The whole idea of Forestals that sicken and taint forests seems contradictory at best. UNLESS you take on some lovely delusional role-playing... which would be so much fun!

Their tainted plight could -possibly- be accepted if it is understood that the Blacktalon are all insane and stark raving mad.

In the end, I think that will help draw players. It's fun to play the game with people who know how to act out a character that is appropriate to their guild.

Of course we're mad, we don't see the taint, sister.

And it's not like we stop plants growing or anything. They're just not as 'pure' and 'pretty' as the Seren stuff.

Well, I love changing class like it's a mental illness, so maybe I'll go Blacktalon in a few months Crowform regen not stacking with trill regen may be the nail in the coffin of my trillness as well.
