If that isn't a bug, then yay, gore is finally useful.

Because instakilling under 1/4 of health is SO not a good skill. At that point you should just combo them. For crying out loud, cooper was at 500 health.

erm shiri 25% of 6k health is 1.5k... and im comboing for 400 hehe so no tongue.gif Honestly that was a lot easier compared to a sac combo.

errr no not really my high damage raps are at most 250-300 so 600 per combo at most. Im using 50 dmg raps now though heh

And it's not really 25%, it's far enough under 25% so that they haven't sipped/sparkled over it by the time you gore. People with 6k health, if I can get them down that low, they're most likely sapped and afflicted, so gore is a waste of power. People with 3k health, I can just cudgel them once or twice when they're that low.

But regardless, that has to be a bug, especially with how it looks to be working with the Avenger.

Or, if they hit vitality, same instance, afflicted, and sapped, they can just trueheal closedeyes.gif. Trueheal shouldn't cure sap.

if i died everytime i hit 25% health I would have lost a lot more fights. Its not an uncommon occurence, hitting 25% against people who actually know how to fight and/or teams, happens. Given it doesnt happen all the time but I would say such skills are a means to take advantage of mistakes. I have managed to get a lot of people down to 25% but had no way of pushing for the kill and thats where gore comes in. I cant believe you guys are dismissing a skill like that.

Im using the stag skills now, i'd dare say serenguards easier to play as than an ur'guard. Easier insta-kill, better room area effect, a lust move, dont have to deal with -stats 3/4s of the time and actually have +stats for the entire day, more regen, plus all those totem stuff... only thing in the ur'guard i find im uneasy of not having is puella but considering i tank better i havent really had the need to use it, save for the times i run out of health vials. Lichdom... well what would you rather have better skills with more risk of losing exp or sucky skills with less risk of losing exp.

Stag is nice no doubt, but you're still limited to damage to kill anyone, even with Gore. At least ur'Guard and Paladins get an instantkill. Try moon, it's basically like Night except you get a health and affliction healing skill too.

Gore is about as useful and likely as behead or disembowel. Ur'guard have a workable instakill that doesn't require damage at all, as Terenas noted. Moon Serenguard have no instakill.


Yes, swiftstripes are nice, but remember the armour penalty? I believe that it's 10% more damage. That extra few hundred counts. Ancestralcurse isn't as reliable now that you can sip love to circumvent it. It's annoying having to reject and lose eq for those precious seconds. I'd much rather have it targetted again and uncurable, like phantoms.

Parade is nice and lusts the target right away, but it can be resisted and rejecting it is pretty simple enough.

Stagform's okay. Health regen and all. It's barely noticeable at times, when I'm taking extra damage from having facepaints up. If DEX becomes a factor in determining deepwound damage, I'll see that as a real plus.

I remember you playing around with bellow, Alger. As you could see, it's quite useful! /sarcasm. We have no way to reliably strip deafness.

Our totems are probably more useful than Stag overall, but I won't be going moon. I do want discern though. It'd be helpful to know when a person's health reached a low.

You have to remember Alger. We have no physical resistances. Staghide offers minimal cold damage protection. Medicinebag heals for double our normal sip but you have to have balance to use it and for 10 touches. Should lower the power cost on that, I'd say. sleep.gif

Believe me gore is a lot easier to do than sacrifice as a warrior.

Ancestral curse is better than contagion.

parade, well skills by themselves are rarely good... thats why you use them with other things! ie gore with discernment.

Hell my shieldstun move i can only do at night 15 strength + level 2 balance and already tuek and narsrim have complained about it... as a serenguard i would have that all day long with swift stripes too.

I would seriously hope that Ancestral Curse is better than Contagion, seeing as how it's a Mythical ability that costs almost 3 times as much powers to use. tongue.gif

It is nice that Gore has some uses though, I wasn't sure as to whether it'd actually be useful when I suggested it originally.

Actually contagion costs six power when you first get it unless you are Trans in Necro. Also there is a bug or change affecting the skill now, where we cant use it if we arent a Lich.
