I get the impression from Lusternia that the original combat designers were excellent, and put in some incredible ideas. Then the later ones who do all the stuff now, like making dying in enemy territory cost 3x as much experience, and can't even get basic coding right so my reflexes don't fire (?his?), aren't up to the job.
