I didn't have any because I was a senior. But I feel your pain. It sucks especially when you take a year long elective (like psychology) and have to take a final for that too :|!

Wait until you do all that in a quarter.

If it's High School Physics it shouldn't be that bad, just have to remember all the equations, formulas, and concepts and you're good.

xD, are you sure you'd WANT me to take a physics exam for you? Physics just....goes over my head. It takes me ages to understand some of the stuff in that class. I got a 57% on my last test which was on...I think it was rotational forces or...energy or whatever. I don't know. It's sad that I've been out of school a month and already remember nothing O_O;.

And psych was actually my favorite class I've ever taken, because the teacher was just so frickin' -AWESOME-. Like when we were learning about memory he had two guys come in and like, curse him off and push him into his computer cart (and he went flying to the ground) and we had to remember what the people looked like. And also I got a 47 on my midterm and he curved it to an 80 >.>.

We did something like that, except a TA came in and took the Professor's briefcase and walked out. I wished our Professor got beaten up.

Yeah, the best part is that my teacher is like, this tiny 5'2" japanese guy. And he got up after they pushed him over and like, sprinted out the door.

As far as I understand, you take a final exam at the end of each year, from each subject which you have chosen.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Final exams for year-long courses are for High Schools and below, and quarterly finals are for Colleges/Universities?

Ah, makes more sense now. And much simpler then I thought it is. Just shows off what kind of a backwater I live at.

Physics was easy. I didnt bother bringing my Graphing Calculator, still got a hundred on it. >:) AP Physics, too!

Only time I've had any trouble with finals is when I got asked to please redo my pre-calc final using algebraic methods instead of actual calculus. (I had audited precalc in 9th grade, so in 11th I just studied a bit and took the final during a study hall, and had taken calc by that point.)

Although I've found it's a bad idea to skip finals, even if you already know you can't pass the class regardless of your score.

Don't worry, American school system confuses me as well. It doesn't help that they have different meanings for "term" and "semester" (and act like they're different things) and so forth either.

In America the word means nothing.

I have had multiple midterms in one class. That is I had 4 midterms and no final.

Normally a final means it has the highest percentage of your grade, like 30% to 50% percent depending on the subject.

A Semester means you have two per year, a Term means you have 3 per year, unless its a trimester and a quarter menas you get 4 per year, although you normally have 5 because the are 2 summer quarters called a summer session. Its all very confusing and there is no standard to it.

A Final normally just means its the most important test in the class.
