I'm still fairly new to Glomdoring, having left Celest not long ago. It was probably one of the best moves I could have ever made, regardless of what some people in Celest are saying to me about it, or the fact that they want my head based on the fact that I am of the taint now (I wont even go there).
Back when I was in Celest, there was no real community thing going. Sure, the people with the highest positions helped each other and worked together, but for the most part alot of people just got silence. Nobody has time for anyone else there from what I experienced.
Today, for the first time since I've been in Lusternia, I felt accepted in the community. People communicate there, they actually talk to you regardless of rank, (unless you're just being really weird, but I wont name names) and they make you feel at home. I actually want to help Glomdoring because it accepted me. I want to donate to my guild and commune to help it because they make me feel a part of it.
If Celest had treated me the same, maybe I wouldnt have left. Yeah, I took a big lesson hit by leaving, but if all I was going to do was avoid coming back into the realms because it was depressing, then I considered it worth the hit. I didnt regret it back when I first joined and I damn sure dont regret it now. And for the record, Galvadore was different, he was actually a friend to me when nobody else seemed to care.
Thanks Nyla, for making me bring Sporal back to life. Thanks to all of Glomdoring for that matter.

I know its the second time I've said it today, but you never cease to ammuse me Nyla... and yes there are downfalls to getting really involved but isnt that the goal of being in the realms Jello? Maybe I should go back to Celest and be quiet at the damned pool again so I dont have to worry about getting really involved.

We're all glad you feel at home in Glomdoring Sporal. Much like other communities it's just about what fits you. Some people I know love Celest, I cant figure out why but they do. Some people don't like Glomdoring and that's ok too, but we're working on making Glomdoring better and its easy to sneer at us when we're young but many forget or just plain out werent here like I was to see Magnagora, Serenwilde and Celest go through plenty of growing pains, some much worse than Glomdoring is.

We're just better.
