Do I have to envoy to have my own feats removed, just so I have a chance against a wicca?
Terenas2005-06-10 22:17:22
Didn't the admins tell us if we don't want feats forceable, we'd have to include it in our reports? Seems pretty odd since it's obvious that no one wants their skills forceable in the first place, let alone feats.
Thorgal2005-06-10 22:20:10
It's also retarded how he can bloody moonburst me twice in the time I can fling a single tarot, give mugwump lvl2 eq and fix the code. sad.gif
Terenas2005-06-10 22:24:43
How long does it take for you to regain balance from Healer anyway? Narsrim is just basically running on normal Mugwump speed prior to the upgrade, but you're a bit slower, I don't think even if you had your normal balance bonus back, you would have lived any longer.
Thorgal2005-06-10 22:26:18
Uh, I fling cards more than half a second slower than before..and Narsrim's speed is faster than lvl2.

You probably would have survived if you didn't have Putre up.
Thorgal2005-06-10 22:31:31
I would have survived 3 seconds longer yes, since that's the speed Narsrim seems to be moonbursting at.

Seriously, I went aslaran with tarot to be fast, not 0,3 seconds faster and 5 times less tanky than every other race.

Darkmoon also stripped me of literally every single defence I had..
Terenas2005-06-10 22:33:01
Considering that two putre ticks drain for more than you can sip for every 6 seconds, you might had been able to use healer again, or shield. biggrin.gif

Anyway, yeah, forceable feats are lame, pisses me to no end whenever he forces me to Surge. dry.gif

Join the club dude. *comfort*
Soll2005-06-10 23:03:21
Sit down, writhe, shield etc. Just sitting would've stopped that, along with most pooka tactics.
Thorgal2005-06-10 23:06:32
Being prone doesn't stop cannibalizing health or mana..so no, that wouldn't have stopped pooka.

To be honoust, my rant is mainly about the speed downgrade, I don't care anymore about people being overpowered, I just don't want to be underpowered.
Soll2005-06-10 23:08:52
Writhing, since you're Aslaran it wouldn't throw you off -forever-(But let's not get into speed, I think? Might start something dry.gif ), or DEF spam, or shield spam, or observe spam, or geyser enchantment, etc
Thorgal2005-06-10 23:12:33
Check the log again..he climbed down and pooka'd me right after I regained balance, after I hit my hangedman macros, but before the action to fling hangedman actually went through, that's why I stung him right after he pooka'd, there is nothing I could have done to prevent it.
Soll2005-06-10 23:13:32
Hmm. I apologise, then.
Amaru2005-06-11 11:18:22
And 'being prone' or whatever is not the answer to forceable feats.

He pooka's me to trueheal... which works off balance, off eq, while prone or afflicted, etc. Takes 10 power away.

You should ask for it needing balance/eq to cast it in the first place then, problem solved! biggrin.gif

Also, seeing as forcing you to trueheal gives you an indestructable shield you can, because they annoyed you, annoy them and sit there for 61 seconds to get 9 power back and then resume fighting. Which is much better than transmute, canibalize health (sp?) cause those just put you at a disadvantage without any innate shielding in the skill itself (and any shield they could put up with another skill they have would not last as long as a trueheal shield, especially since they don't have the power to do serpent).
Murphy2005-06-13 03:54:10
That doesn't nearly work as well in practise, in combat you are pressing macroes to do things, and almost ALWAYS you lose your parrier after being pookad to do it

Depends on the person. Some people switch into a passive mode as soon as barrier comes up where all commands are filtered out... and doesn't trueheal barrier last longer than ~60 seconds? I swear I saw Ceres hide under one for like an hour once...

I think the 60 second thingy that Binjo said was just how long it took for the power to regenerate...he was saying that while it can be used with Trueheal, you can just sit under the Trueheal barrier for ~60 seconds and regen all the power back.
