Really. During the last month I logged in maybe 10 times, most of them to check the news. As hard as some of you might find it to believe, I'm getting bored by the game - no idea if it's Lusternia or just muds in general. Yeah, I know - interesting things happened lately, with class changes, new areas et cetera, but I still don't feel like logging on.

Is it just me? Any comments?
Soll2005-06-11 13:20:43
Me too. sad.gif I log in for Narsrim and for a chat on Panda, mainly, though I think I'm trying to get some other reasons together. Reckon if I form a clan and get some things started I'm planning I'd log in more.

I can't fathom this type of problem.
Acrune2005-06-11 13:52:35
Yeah, I'm starting to lose interest too. Astral is getting too hard to bash, and Celest sucks. If I had anything better to do, you guys would hardly ever see me. But, well.... unsure.gif

I wonder how much fun Magnagora will have when they've chased everyone off, heh. Raiding empty cities and communes. Woot. A few characters from SW quit because they can't even walk around with the idiots jumping them from whatever reason. We'll see how it goes.

Cuber, see it as a good thing. This ish is addictive! biggrin.gif

If your city sucks for you, move somewhere else maybe? You play for your own pleasure after all.
And if you're bored or tired with Lusternia or muds in general, just take a longer break and see if you miss it and want to come back... or not.
I know I'm stating obvious. tongue.gif

Im a lil bored myself not really much to do other than guildwork and well.... yeah im still doin it but its a lil borin heh.. the more I dont play the more I get sucked into morrowind *hides the 101 mods on it that shes dled*
Silvanus2005-06-11 17:26:58
Pretty obvious by now that Silvanus doesn't fight anymore, seeing as how he forgot his skills, gave away his vials and such. I lost interesting in muds altogether, only because I lost interest in Lusternia.

thats pretty amusing that I'm still stronger then you. I forgot my guild skills, so I'm useless in fighting biggrin.gif
Daganev2005-06-12 05:49:14
No, the problem is not enough people are attacking... Not that Magnagora is attacking to much.

I'll try to fix that soon.
Bau2005-06-12 07:40:29
I lost interest for a while, as Bau.

I know everyone thinks I'm power-hungry, but I'm more work-hungry. If nobody's talking to me and I've got nothing to do but bash, I -am- gonna lose interest. That was why Bau started sliding out in the first place, and why she came back for Glomdoring. She woulda gone any forest but Serenwilde, cause Serenwilde drove her/me nuts.

This is also the reason I have alts. If I have nothing to do, I can find something on my alt.
Unknown2005-06-13 11:58:05
amen to that. *is too much like bau* damn you
Narsrim2005-06-13 14:56:32
If you are losing interest, take a solid week off. That's what I did and I'm once again hooked.
Gregori2005-06-13 16:36:44
Everyone needs to keep one thing in mind.

This is a game.

Just like any other game, sometimes you need to put it away and go outside and look at thing called the sun. Get some fresh air and enjoy reality for a while. Then when reality has scared you enough. Go back and play your game.

If you are losing interest in the game, that means you are spending to much time playing the game and not enough time getting scared by reality.
Unknown2005-06-13 16:37:52
lol. Reality isnt scary sleep.gif its just.... not as good as fantasy hehe.
Terenas2005-06-13 17:26:51
Hard for me to get bored of Lusternia since I can only be on twice a week anyway. But I haven't spend as much time as before when Dumihru was still active. depressed.gif
timsae2005-06-13 21:51:48
I'm kinda losing interest as well, but mainly because I'm having monitor problems. It will cut out randomly, so I can't bash (and I've never been able to fight). Plus, I've long since given up on my guild and city being sane.

I think if I had a wife or something, I wouldn't lose as much interest in it.
Murphy2005-06-13 23:14:05
I totally agree with Narsrim, I only had 4 days off cause I didn't pay my internet bill on time.......

I missed the festival but i came back hooked again
Unknown2005-06-14 00:58:52
These things come and go really, eventually you'll find something to hook yourself on, like a niche.

And if you're a Celestian there is a LOT you can do to help the city, because according to the majority there is a LOT the city could improve on. But also, those majority can only talk the talk but can't walk the walk. If that's how the saying goes. (Maybe that's why our numbers are low, because everyone thinks like that)

But anyway, don't worry, there will always be something to do. That's also one of the things the villages offer, continuous minor conflict. Enjoy this temporary lapse from Lusternia and take advantage to resume your lives biggrin.gif
