ok i have been gone for a while so only know a couple of things but did the damage of my cosmicfire go down to crap even more? Im transed celestialism and 18 int now when i used cosmicfire it take 2 hits to kill a old rat. so what happened?

Nothing has changed to cosmicfire against mobs. Against players the damage type was changed.

Actually, many people noticed the same thing after the change, Hajamin. Against mobiles. Anything which could have gone wrong?

It's been taking me two hits to kill rats too... well, 13 int here though

What I think happened, is cosmicfire damage changed from 100% magic, to 50% magic. They forgot to put in the other half (50% fire), so cosmicfire is doing half damage..

Or they just removed the base damage or something? Cause it's definately doing a lot less damage.

From what I remember, 17 intel was enough to cap a black rat in one hit.

As I said in the last thread about this, player damage and mob damage are DIFFERENT THINGS. That should be fairly obvious, otherwise you all would be killing supernals in like 3 hits.

Just a random thought, perhaps your race lost int and therefore you do less damage?

Im a imperial merian and i have 18 int im just the same as before so i still dont see whats going wrong.

cosmicfire sucks compared to other early damage abilities. takes me one hit to kill all but black rats, which take two and i'm an imperial merian with 18 int (celestines). when i had an aquamancer, it only took me one blast with the same race. I hope the symbol will do better or so i've been told
