Okay, so, I'm curious. All I've heard on EVERY front is the hartstone administration SARKS. Niara's gone, finally. I think Sylphas'll do a good job. But Nessa. From what I've heard, she's done nothing. Nothing as in, some clan/guild files are leftovers from the first GA, who copied Achaean orderhelps into Lusternia.
So, really. WTF? Hartstoners. What's going on? Explain? Word is some members don't *WANT* change - so you're okay to being the shattiest guild in Lusternia, more often than not taking a back seat to the BLACKTALON, who has like, 2 people who can POINT CUDGEL?
This isn't a flame. It's pure curiousity. What the HELL is going on over there?

How hard would it be to like, force Elyrn into a position of leadership?
Well, maybe it would be hard, but you HAVE some people =\\.

Nessa just won 12-7. So, I'm really curious. There's allegations a lot of her friends have innactive characters that, when she gets contested, hop on and vote for her, then resume innactivity. Which would explain where those 19 votes came from.

Very hard. Elryn refuses to take a damn position of power. *thumps him*
Erion2005-06-13 01:59:53
I'm sure there's other capable people, too. Don't know Hartstone members, really. Not since a lot left.
Sylphas2005-06-13 02:00:14
Nessa wants him as at least undersec, I think he would have been a great GM/GA, and if Thaemorn was here I'd do my best to make him at least take protector or security. He won't listen to us.
Unknown2005-06-13 02:00:59
Yeah, I really could not think of 19 Hartstone members...
Erion2005-06-13 02:02:07
Still - why vote Nessa? I've heard nothing but innactivity-complaints over her. I mean, seriously, if there's clanhelp files dating back to the first GA - which were blatant and complete copies of achaean orderhelp files - there's problems.
Sylphas2005-06-13 02:02:41
A lot of them are undersecs or such that I barely see apart from gwho.
Erion2005-06-13 02:03:48
So, basically, Nessa's innactive friends who get on to vote for her and idle.

Said inactive friends. Plus, people don't want things to change, because right now it's more or less anything-goes. Sylphas should help drag that into line though, but Niara had the most horrible attitude towards conflict (or, uh, RP) and so forth that it screwed up the guild badly.

Also note:
Mel is Nessa's IC sister
Barrin is ICly married to Mel
Vesien is Nessa's IC sister
Jitwix is ICly married to Vesien
*shrugs*
If the guild wants her, they can have her.

If I were Sylphas, I'd start booting innactives who hop on for the sole purpouse of voting. Sorry, that's cheap and OOC.
Erion2005-06-13 02:07:48
Call it "inability to maintain relations with the guild. Will be reguilded upon such a time dedication can be shown."
You don't not go to work for a year straight and expect benefits, do you?

Problem being, I didn't have GM before most of them voted, so I can't see the jump between a month inactive and lastlogin a day ago.
Unknown2005-06-13 02:09:20
Actually, part of the issue is WHO ran against her. I'm sure if Elryn chose to run for GA, the votes would have fallen a little different.
:shrugs: Maybe Jairdan needs to take a hint from two sets of votes hm?
And Jairdan, before the comment is made, I kept my promise.

I wouldn't even assume you broke your word, Bran, unlike you, I don't think the worst of people.
Unknown2005-06-13 02:12:23
Heh. This from the person that asked me 5 times after I made the promise if I planned on keeping it. :curtsey: As you wish.
Jairdan2005-06-13 02:14:10
Actually, I think I asked once, because you made some bitchy comment towards me, not that that is unusual for you.
Malicia2005-06-13 02:56:46
Awww, Nessa isn't so bad. It's easy to look at a guild, pick it apart and deem to know what's best for it. It's hard running things. Erion, you're just starting trouble! Tsk.
