Can anyone give me the rundown on villages?

For example, how does one become enemied to a village? If I do a quest in a village am I helping out the city who rules it? Stuff like that.

For the most part, I've tried to ignore all things having to do with villages. But as I'm trying to get more involved in the realms, I was wondering.

You become enemied to a village when you kill something there loyal to it.

If you do a quest, yes, you're helping the ruling city/commune.

If you do an honors quest in it though, you're not helping anyone but yourself.

Also remember if you kill a villiage loyal, you also get enemied to the controlling place. I once killed a delport gold miner (that was outside of the villiage!) and I got enemied to delport -and- celest.

Some honours quests may affect the village's production I always thought. Like when the tae'dae cubs are cured, they go out into the fields and help the furrikin which should increase production?

Hrm, I dunno then. I had thought honors quests were just for yourself, comm quests were for the city/commune.

Some honors quests help the city/commune, like the Southgard and Estelbar quests; others don't, like the Delport and Stewartsville quests.

Does acknor? They all say they will produce more stuff.

I hate that Acknor and Angkrag are automatically aligned with Magnagora. People say we can take any village we like, but since in game terms we have no way of cleansing these villages, even if we held them for 100 years, people are not going to want to try.

If you shot for the IC motivation, you'ld be surprised. I imagine they'd reward you in a very nice manner. Although, if Celest and Serenwilde sought to help the Glom, Glom could take Angkrag, assuming they gave Seren back Rockholm.

Hell, Celest COULD take it, if they asked some Blacktalon(s) nicely.

I doubt it.
