ok so i am REALLY sick of these 30 hour influence sessions per village, so lets put a cap on them say after like 3 hours if no ones made any headway, the village declares itself free from everyone untill a later date then goes up again. thoughts and comments only please don't try to hijack this.

Don't like it. At all. Roark seems to be gathering ideas on the lusternia combat balance thread, so, I posted mine there. But, this one, ick.

Maybe at the 3 hour cap it just goes to the village that is ahead at the time?

Still a stupid idea - I like Roark's more.

I say make the margin for victory less with each passing hour.
At first, require 95% of influence as a majority.
After, say 9 hours, make it -5% per hour, to 50% or so.
I know you cant really manage influencing in simple percentages, but go by whatever the influence figures happen to be.
It's idiotic to have all mobiles controlled except for three named ones, or five unnamed mobiles who you cant keep track of, and not be able to declare victory.

Don't like the idea either, keep it as it is.
Binjo2005-06-16 17:52:58
And after 30 hours you'd only need -50% of the mobiles influenced!
Miriamele2005-06-16 21:20:26
No, he said UP TIL about 50% or so. Even I paid enough attention for that one.

Well, assuming that people are actually -trying- to influence, 50% should demonstrate a strong enough majority.
