Change to Flow

As a rogue for the last... I sunno, prolly a few in game years, I rely fairly heavily on Flow to get from one place to another, and I do spend about half my time in Glom, because it happens that half my family is in glom... Problem is, I can only flow in Serenwilde type forest environments... I've been giving it some thought, and it occurs to me that a simple fix of this could be that the Flow system rely on citicenship, rather than skills.... Since thats what it appears to be now... If you belong to Glomdoring, you can only flow in tainted forest, Serenwilde, Un-tainted forest, Rogue, any forest environment... It seems like it would make life quite a bit easier for those of us who already have quite an annoying handicap in skills...

No, this is a bad idea. 'Rogues' would be hired to work alongside either side to get back all the advantages of omniflow.

I liked back in the old days when you could just flow to anyone in a forest no matter where you were. Lost in the middle of an ocean? Find someone at mother and flow away!

Aye but our novices cant flow.

Then make it if you are a member of Glomdoring, you regen/flow/wisp only in tainted forest. If you are a member of Serenwilde, or rogue, you regen/flow/wisp only in natural forest.

Maybe if they're rogue and have mastered a taint totem, then they regen/flow/wisp in tainted forest but not natural.

This works the same way that faeling specs work, aswell as faeling regen works.

If you wanted it changed to what type of citizenship you have, sure we can do that. Serenwilde clean forest, Glomdoring tainted forest, Rouges can't flow because you're not connected to a forest type.

Yea, I don't like it - maybe throw in a loop of code so if you're a novice blacktalon/shadowdancer, they can flow in tainted, not untainted? It's kind of bad for our novices.

Make it citizenship dependant

Our novs > Rogues

Bah leave it as it is, bugger the novices tongue.gif. Make them learn up to adept planar and they will always have a way to come home.

In any case, do not take Flow where it was before.

The disadvantage on Rogues is good.

Rogues are frowned upon in Lusternia.

That is all,

The Aebrin has spoken.

Rogues are in no way affected. Rogues without Crow/Night are affected.

Back in the cage Aebrin... come on tongue.gif
