Do you remember the blurb in the histories that one time, where one of the aethercasts was sponsored by Estelbar Fruit Juices or soemething of the like?
Well, I'm starting Lusternia's first company since waybackwhen. And I'm looking for people to join in!
The Merchant's Guild is the company I speak of, but it's purpose is more of a parent company over subsidiaries.
If any blacksmith, apprentice level or above wishes to join the oldest private forging cartel, you might want to look up clanhelp blackanvil. Dues are at 100gp a year (contrary to the outdated helpfile). I feel that people might actually pay 100gp a year, as my past experiences with dues are that people just don't pay the gold, and I have to kick 'em out!
Why are there dues? Because cartels are expensive, and you get access to private forging designs! Remember, the older the cartel, the better!
Also, if any tailor, apprentice or above wishes to join a cartel, check out clanhelp fates. Speak to Bau or myself about joining this cartel. This is a new cartel, and needs members like *tailor's name here*. We need to get some fresh ideas running here, and we're already on our way to several private designs.
Lastly, the Merchant's Guild cartel itself is for the trans merchants. We provide services to each other for no profit. We also have a tradehall in Deepnight, currently seven rooms large, I believe. We're looking to get our artifacts in there, but I think that we might have to wait until a sale, as the total cost for the artifacts is nearing 3000cr. The Merchant's Guild also happens to be a forging cartel, though of course, only the blacksmiths benefit from it.
If you wish to join in this grand economic endeavor, or are interested in future jewelry/cooking cartels, feel free to contact myself or one of my associates.
Happy trading!

So will you be selling fruit juices?
Richter2005-06-21 15:54:03
*rubs temples*
...actually, yes. Once I get my cooking cartel.
But the point was, that there used to be companies in Lusternia (okay, we only know of one), and I'm starting one.
Go Arpee!

Man, I WISH we can make fruit juices. We only have had two new patterns since I made my cartel, even though I've submitted like 20.
I wish we can make drinks that aren't alcholic.

Total number that I've gotten approved? 0.

That was kind of my point, but Richter seemed a little grouchy so I didn't push it.
