Ok so I picked up a timestamp script from this board a while back but now I don't know who made it. The script is set in a Utilies class folder and uses a command like "lcp_info Timestamps" to turn it on and off.

Anyway.

The real question is why does the timestamp not show up in my logs and how can I change that?

Make sure your logging preferences are set to log only after triggers have been executed.

er, menu... View -> Preferences -> General -> Logging -> "Log after triggers"

That said, I have no idea how your timestamp display thingie works, so it might still not work for some reason. I have a timestamp thingie that adds a timestamp prefix to my prompt which logs properly, if you can't get yours to work send me a PM and I'll give you the trigger. Needs a trigger-state compatible zMud though. Looks like this:
