Yes it's an old old game, that no one plays because there is now WoW and FFXI, but I'm OG when it comes to D2 on bnet, so anyone else still play? My account name is thakin, for all none of you who care.

Na I got over it a long time ago, about when hacked items started getting too popular.

I play it when I get bored, but I never had a decent enough net connection to get with bnet. And I would be impossibly bored trying to level without players 8 turned on, and getting 8 actual players defeats the point, because you don't get all the mobs to yourself. Not to mention assholes. I don't like assholes.

well with 1.10 out there isnt really much of that anymore, just alot of wanna be scammers that try to get you to message them your name and password, so i give em a fake password and watch em leave all fast to try it, then I laugh and find a duel game.

Diablo 2 is all hacks. Even with 1.10 there's a load of them. And plus EVERYONE uses maphack, clickhack, etc. Dueling is like 99% fought by bots now.

Yeah my friend has a hack where he presses a key on his keyboard and his bot attacks the nearest enemy, but I dont use any of that stuff, because i sure as hell aint buying another disc when my cd key gets banned, so i play all legit

Blizz doesn't give two cents about D2, nobody will get banned. Plus, even if they did, over half the population of D2 would be gone. They don't make any money off of D2 anymore, so they couldn't care less.

But yeah, D2 was an ownage game. I was intensely godly in that game .

Oo, me me, I play. Not online much, though, unless it's with m'brother or (even less often) people from classes. And I can't PvP even there. But it's great for the rare occassion when I'm irritated and feel like killing stuff. Go smash skeletons and demons and stuff, yay!

I likes the expansion. Assassin = FUN. And I actually haven't gotten very far into Act V by m'self even in all this time. Actually, haven't gotten past Act IV without m'brother's help for Mephisto. Usually running through the first few acts at a time is enough to calm the bloodthirstiness as it pops up.

3 outta my 8 characters are Assassins. I have a clawsin, trapper, and kicksin. I've been into Paladins lately, just made a charger and zealer. My level 63 zealer is my best dueler so far.

I my zealot. Find the biggest patch of nastiest monsters you can find, wade in and start mowing them down.

I used to play, and only hardcore characters though. Softcore got boring way too quickly. It was a good game, but it's time has passed. I'm waiting for D3.

I dunno if they'll make a D3. D2 and Diablo were immensely popular, though, so they might, at least to get money out of the playerbase who isn't willing to pay a monthly fee for WoW.

Oh, and there was no class as awesome as my Bow Barb.

Yeah i love my zealer. He uses a Shaeled Lightsabre and a Herald of Zakarum

And about D3, i doubt it just cause they have no story to go off of.

Mine is only level 46 or so. Just into Nightmare, though I think I'm gone drop it down to 1 player and breeze through into Hell.

When I get bored and feel like Diablo. Maybe a few hours a month, if that.

They are making a MMORPG Diablo 3, so the rumour goes.

They have been, or were, recruiting a developer who had intimate knowledge of the Diablo series a little a while ago.

I used to play that heaps, but never online (My connection was too dodgy at the time and now I really really can't be bothered to start from scratch). Used to play LAN games with my brother a lot when both computers were in the same room, that was really fun. I still play it very very occasionally, but if I'm feeling nostalgic for games that I used to play all the time I'm more likely to play Black & White or Morrowind...

Why would they have WoW and MMORPG Diablo? They can't make ALL their stuff into MMOs.
