it's been allmost a year and a half I belive sense Glomdoring was out , and no sign of freeing Gaudigauch and Hallifax... Several pepole have done the quest bye now. You would think it wouldn't take very long by now. Unless there are more ways to free the traped cities, I doubt it will be out for a while. I wish there was a way to tell how far along they are.

A year and a half? The whole game hasn't even been out that long has it?

I really hope no more new cities are added for at least 6 months, roughly. I want to see what we have tweaked to near perfection and our playerbase increase before we decide to add more confusion to the mix.

Glomdoring has only been out for a few months.

And the playerbase really isn't large enough to support another two organizations.
Gregori2005-07-17 01:45:15
The whole game has only been out of closed Beta for less than a year. Glomdoring about 2 months, tops.
Dysolis2005-07-17 01:48:32
so I went a bit high, exsuse me. I doubt the problem is player base, Lusternia has lots of players
Unknown2005-07-17 01:50:12
Not really, around 80 is the max at any one time while we can get as low as 30 at other times. Really not enough to spread over 6 orgs.
Gregori2005-07-17 01:55:19
On average there is 70 people around at a time. opening two more orgs would make 5 Organisations, and then the Ackleberry people would be in a fit so we would have to have that one too, now we are at 6 orgs.

At needing 1 leader per org, that takes us down to 64 people. Good amount, but now we need to fill guilds. That's at least 3 people per guild, 3 guild per org. So now that we have just removed another 54 people, we have 10 people to spread out in 6 orgs.

Even if we say there is 100 people around at any given time, there is not a large enough playerbase to open more player run orgs.

So no... opening more is not viable yet.
Dysolis2005-07-17 01:58:39
well thats lame, we need more players then I suppose.

I think your maths is a bit off? Or is mine..hmm

Celest+Serenwilde+Magnagora+Glomdoring+Hallifax+Gaudigauch+Ackleberry = 7
Dysolis2005-07-17 02:03:37
Ackleberry?? isn'at that a road?
Xenthos2005-07-17 02:06:26
The road is named after the forest that was.
Dysolis2005-07-17 02:10:05
oh.. so there coming out with -another- forest commune? -confused-
Xenthos2005-07-17 02:11:51
Not for a long time, but it is one of the things in the histories.

shhh I am tired...

Just makes my point more valid then. one more org means even more of a spread.
Dysolis2005-07-17 02:12:07
also sometimes new cities and communes draw in players so, even though lots will be switching you should count the novices as well
Gregori2005-07-17 02:13:06
70%, atleast, of novices in a new Org are alts testing the waters.

We certainly experienced that.
Dysolis2005-07-17 02:15:14
Indeed
Unknown2005-07-17 04:00:13
I can give you an exact date for when Hallifax and Gaudiguch are coming:

Never.
Unknown2005-07-17 04:05:36
C'mon Visaeris! You're breakin' my heart here tongue.gif

I personally thinkin' that they're still being tweaked and perfected. I be they have them at like, 95% functionality but there are no players to stick in there and they still have bugs.
