Pretty nice! I would, however, get a program like Illustrator (or anything that lets you do nice, clean, vectorized lines) and trace over the thick, fuzzy lines you have. They kinda look like crayon, but that's probably just your scanner 
Plus, if you use a vector drawing program, it's pretty easy to shade stuff: simply draw in temporary lines to define color regions and use the fill tool, then remove the lines. Works great with anime-style drawings, as anime shading tends to have well-defined boundaries between lighter and darker shades.

The GIMP is a very powerful piece of freeware. It has most of the features of Photoshop, but I find it much more easy to use.
