This has probably been brought up at some point but anyway...

I'd love to see an upgrade introduced for us trademasters that allows us to purchase additional annual submission slots for our cartels.

New cartels would start out with 2 private and 2 public ones as we're used to it, and if the cartel desides they want more than that, they can get their trademaster to buy additional slots, for some hefty chunk of money.

I know private cartel trademasters could just go and buy more clans and turn them into cartels, but wouldn't it make much more sense to just extend existing ones? Those who like being head of four cartels can still do that if it makes them happy. But especially for the public cartels I think that'd be a really neat idea.

Whatcha think?

Also, price... 200k for a public submission, 300k for a private one? If you buy two of each, you pay just as much as if you had bought a new cartel and get just as many additional submission slots. Or should it be a little less, seeing as you after all don't get a separate organisation on top of the submissions?

This is just my thoughts on this, but more submissions = more submissions for the admin to have to check and approve. Might have something to do with it, contrary to popular belief we're do need to sleep atleast once a month.

Hmm. What's the difference between me having bought another cartel and bothering you with another 4 submissions per year, and me having bought upgrades and bothering you with another 4 submissions a year?

In fact: If I get to buy upgrades, I'll only buy private submissions, so it only means I only bother you with 2 more submissions, whereas if I have four new ones, I'll probably use it

And.... how about you get another voluntary worker for design approvements? I'm sure there's plenty of people out there willing and able to do it.

And after all, I think designs are one of the little details that make Lusternia really cool. Submissions = Cool; Cool + More Cool = Uber Cool; num(Cool) ~ num(Customers); Uber Cool = Uber Customers.

The difference is, they can adjust the rate of submissions allowed per cartel. We were only ever promised 1 private and a random number of public submissions per year.

When they get overwhelmed with submissions, they can always adjust that allotment, as they have many times in the past.

If you pay for extra submission slots, on the other hand, what you pay for is what you're owed.

Since they can legitimately cut each cartel back to exactly 1 submission per year, selling you more slots for less than the cost of a cartel automatically cuts into their control of the submission floodgates.
