Glomdoring and Serenwilde are foests, right? So theoritcally, there are MANY more trees than the ones made for totems.... Shouldn't those be choppable? Why can't we have an ability to look at how many trees are in the local area? They would each supply a lot of wood when chopped, but grow back really slowly.
Perhaps give cities another conflict against the forests, and get glom+seren possbily *gasp* Siding together?

You see 30 trees growing in this area

Just thought of this idea quicklly, didn't entirely think it through...
Trees in other places would be good too. And how about like the snakes, if you cut down too many trees, some wildlife dies...

Oi... MORE wildlife dieing? do you realize that only the serenwilders care about any of that? and only a few of us... if mobs would die because of random things that people did all the mobs would be dead by now, either because of the RP of people, or because they don't care OOC about the IC world enough.

Please don't put it on Faethorn . We have enough to watch over up there.
Also, Commune's need the wood too, so what inscentive do we have to side together to keep it for ourselves? If we lose power when we lose trees, it screws everyone who needs the wood because then we're forced to defend the trees. If we don't lose power or there isn't some measurable loss, I don't think we will defend them anyway.

The herbs in the room could die if you cut down all the trees in the location for an an lusternian month (since there is so much magic in the forest, a tree would sprout up every month)
Since without trees, plants would die, and so it makes sense that forest herbs would need what makes a forest a forest - trees.
Edited: achaean month for lusternian month.

Yay, lets just think of -more- ways to destroy the forest herbs, i mean, lets just get -both- communes pissed at basically everyone but them, since you know, i severly doubt anyone in Glomdoring and Serenwilde would like to have a herbless forest. And Aleron, this is -lusternia- not achaea.
Aleron2005-07-26 08:30:00
And there are almost no ways to destroy forest herbs - why? Because no one taints/floods a forest. Its all the OTHER places that get stuck in elemental demesnes, while forests, on the other hand, stay relatively clean 99% of the time.
Edited: misunderstanding.

Aleron, i was pointing out the fact you said.. and i quote
Now who sees Achaean Month in there?
And there's a very easy way to destroy herbs, you said in your previous post, herbs would die without trees, meaning if there's no trees they're doing to die, on top of the two months that they're already dying.

Bleh, I didn't even realize I did that, heh. God i'm tired.
*edits it out* anyway, yeah, my apologies. So used to people insulting Achaea, the comment just seemed like a totally snide one.
Also, I meant there are currently almost no ways to kill forest herbs.
