I don't mean the most powerful, or the guild which gives the greatest combat advantage. I mean best in the sense of, which guild has the most potential for conflict and fights the most?
Would you say a Magnagoran guild as they tend to be more aggressive, or maybe Celest as they seem to be the underdogs right now and get beat on a lot? Or do you think that there really isn't much difference between the different guilds and organisations? From what I have seen most guilds have a few players who like to PvP a lot, but it's mostly confined to village influencing and arena sparring. Are there some guilds which stand out as being more heavily focused on PvP?
Or to put it another way, which guild would you advise a new player to join who was really interested in combat and wanted to fight with other players as much as possible?

Ur'guard. By far.

Yeah.
Or any guilds, if he just wants to spar. *shrug*

If you want to fight alot, join a Celest guild. Seems there's always some reason to either fight or train to fight. As for which guild, I'd base it off your personality, but that's just me.
Daganev2005-07-25 17:15:44
I'd say Ebonguard.

Vesar and Daganev don't count - they're simply promoting their own selfish ends. Honestly, Magnagora ends up in the most conflict, and tends to start it. They raid more than anyone else, etc.

No, I'm not promoting my "own selfish ends." If I wanted to do that, I would have said Aquamancers. Yea, Magnagora starts it, but guess who they mainly attack?
Daganev2005-07-25 18:01:00
I think you will find more people fighting in the ebonguard. while the ur'guard have very good top fighters, the Ebonguard are not blessed with that, and so we encourage anyone and everyone to try to fight so that we can hopefully find or train someone that would not otherwise be a natural fighter.
Glomdoring also has a rule that you can kill anyone you like inside of the forest, which Magnagora does not.

But they also attack the Wilde. Celest rarely attacks anyone - and if they do, It's Magnagora. Sooo. Magnagora attacks Celest and Serenwilde. Celest attacks Magnagora. Serenwilde attacks Magnagora. Glomdoring attacks nobody - maybe Celest, if asked nicely.
Magnagora still stands on the top there.

I am unsure as to how the Ebonguard deal with it, but no shadowdancer can kill a shadowdancer, and the same for blacktalon. Cuts a third of viable targets out right there.
Daganev2005-07-25 18:43:57
Thats why I said the ebonguard and not shadowdancers or blacktalon, or Glomdoring in general.
If you want to run around being a murderous lunatic, Ebonguard is probabbly the guild that will let you do it the most.

Who ever said the Shadowdancers can't kill eachother?
Ebonguard is the only guild I know of where all members outside of novicehood have to be on alert at all times, otherwise someone in the commune can beat them silly

There was a law that lets you attack who you want? awww man, if i'd known that Moralis would have been dead several times.

GHELP TENETS, III.

As long as your willing to suffer the deaths for killing people, you can kill anyone.

That is dependant upon the situation. Though there are situations where killing is not allowed, it's normally not questioned.
