A little something for Mages/Druids..

Often times when I'm melding a big place (like Paavik or Rockholm) I do most of it, then call someone in to follow me around, so I can find loose ends.

I was wondering if we could maybe get a little message for when we enter our demesnes? Even something like,

"You feel as though you are one with this land." when you enter, and

"You feel your link to your demesne weaken." when you walk out of it.

Just so I don't have to keep making Shorlen follow me around. >.o

Pull up Caffrey's map and watch your progress out of the corner of your eye on it. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Though that is a pretty good idea.

While you're in the room, type DEMESNE. If it's not your demesne, it will tell you so.

And it doesn't take equilibrium or balance.

I am SO not stepping every room and doing DEMESNE. On that token, I could just FORESTCAST MELD every room. If it's already melded, I don't lose eq or balance.

But that's not the point. I could just make someone follow me and save myself the excessive spam.

On an unrelated note, do we see if our demesne is dissolved? I haven't noticed that, ever.

And that idea is good, I like it.

It would be very nice if we got a message when someone forced a room of our demesne, even if it didn't say who. Watch sorta of covers it, but seeing someone pop in and then out is just as common when they're not breaking.
