What is it that drives one to find the love that he or she holds to themselves,
Holds upon the light, to a feeling,
Holds to the world, to a deepest desire.
Can we just continue to move on through out this world,
At unawares,
For the loves that we can hold?
The dreams of the nights are oft too much a seeming,
For it is an illusion at worst,
My life at best.
For the world that I have been driven to believe, though,
To that world,
I must shed a tear and cry,
For that is my passing,
On from this life unto the next.
Can one dream an evanescent feeling,
An evanescent light,
To what one can hold to themselves,
Oft to the world I may create at night?
I wish that this was a seeming,
For the world is no longer a lie,
To grow up and view the world in all it’s name,
Is to see it, alright.
What is it that drives us forwards,
Off from the night,
What is it that drives us from our shelters,
Out unto the world.
Can I dream the one dream,
That makes this all alright?
Can I wish that one wish,
That atones for my sins and expresses my desires to night?
The mornings wake me,
Shedding it’s brightly made tears,
To upon my skin it lasts.
What I wish, for my soul,
Is to remember,
The feelings that I once had,
When I was alongside you.
For who can one love,
If it is not someone like you.
I have opened my soul,
Cut it a thousand times.
Giving it up in the end,
Is my plight among plights..
A tear drop among shadows,
On to the way,
For what one can dream,
Is finally one dream.
I wish to hold you near me mi’love,
To hold you tight,
For one moment,
For one second,
Before I fall off into the night.
